Antique hand-painted wooden castanets

Set of handmade castanets, a souvenir from the 1960s. Includes a decorative box featuring an illustration of a couple dancing flamenco. The castanets are made of polished wood, with detailed hand-painted linear decorations in light colours. Illustrations featuring bullfighting motifs. Held together by a brightly coloured cord. Signs of wear and tear over time, as shown in the photograph. Weight: 145g. Dimensions: Castanets 8cm. Box: 14.5cm high, 10cm wide, 3cm deep.
