Antique bronze writing desk

When we talk about writing implements, we are referring to all the items needed for writing. These objects, which were already in use in the 15th century, were usually kept on the office desk on a small plate. There, on the desk, were the inkwell, the pen, the ink blotter, the bell and the letter opener. Bronze writing sets are among the most famous as they could be purchased at a more affordable price and date back to the 18th century. As bronze is a metal that preserves well, the pieces are still in excellent condition today. The three containers that make up the writing set are placed on the tray. The sand tray or dustpan, the feather duster and the inkwell have clean lines and smooth surfaces. The bell is not included.
