Green hand-blown glass fishing float

A beautiful green blown-glass fishing buoy. It is a historical artefact that was used to keep fishing nets afloat and is often made from recycled glass. The VB stamp engraved on the sealing button of the fishing buoy stands for the company Vidriera Española, S.A., which manufactured these between 1930 and 1960. A decorative piece in a nautical and maritime style, ideal for collectors, coastal homes, restaurants or vintage décor. Signs of wear and tear over time, as shown in the photograph.
