As a curiosity, the Labelson (Electronic Laboratory) brand was founded in 1960 in Barcelona and was initially dedicated to the manufacture of radio receivers based on the new transistors. Unlike many Spanish brands at the time, which operated as licensees of foreign brands. Lavis was entirely in-house. In 1979 it closed its doors and was integrated into the Japanese Sharp. Portable receivers were the most popular because of their small size and the use of low-capacity batteries, which made them very practical. In the 60s and 70s different models were launched by different brands. Lavis was one of the national brands that dominated the market at that time. This particular model, despite being modest, perfectly combined acceptable performance and good sound.
