In 1946 Eduardo Blanchard founded the company Celulosa Fabril (CEFA) in Zaragoza. Initially oriented to the manufacture of cellulose capsules for bottle caps, very soon the family business began to expand its activity with the manufacture of gelatins, saccharines and soaps. In 1952, with the development of thermoplastic injection, CEFA began the production of plastics through injection molds, and with it the manufacture of toys, among other products. In the following years, Celulosa Fabril would see thousands and thousands of boats, trains, tea sets, detachable garages, hula-hoops, shovels, buckets and a long etcetera of toys of the most varied kinds, although it can be said that CEFA really consolidated its position in the toy market in the 80’s, with the commercialization of board games and scientific kits.
