Diari de l’expedició santanyinera al voltant de Mallorca, 1899′ is a work that documents the voyage made 125 years ago by a group of Mallorcans aboard the llaüt San Miquel. Published by El Gall Editor and curated by Sebastià A. Adrover Vicens, the book includes unpublished documents found in the Can Clar archive. The work, available in Catalan and English, has the collaboration of seven authors who contribute different perspectives and studies. Sebastià Agustí Adrover was born in Santanyí in 1972. Trained as a teacher and in English Philology, Adrover has been an avid reader and writer since he was young. He has collaborated in several literary magazines and has published numerous research works, especially on the biography of Miquel Clar i Vila. His works include ‘Son afectíssim Antoni M. Alcover Prevere’ and ‘El Gran Golafre. Epistolario, ficción histórica, humor y sátira según Mn. Miquel Clar’. His dedication and passion for Mallorcan history and literature are clearly reflected in ‘Diari de l’expedició santanyinera al voltant de Mallorca, 1899’.
